Whitstable

On my way back to the United Kingdom.  Even though it is to deal with very bad situation at home.  Includes a long journey so I can travel with the little dog: New York, Paris, Calais, Dover, Whitstable!  One month before I leave-will arrive there May 30th.   I am excited.  I will stay there for three months-one of the many benefits of not having a career!

Anyway, a great deal to sort out.  Nothing much to write or worry about today.

Will make film in London rather than LA.

I found a charming little video for you to watch.

Summer vacation! That’s really cool that you get to go home for a few months and enjoy a break. My mom is trying to convince me to take summer classes but this will be the first summer I’ll be able to enjoy. I miss living by the ocean and being able to walk along the beach.

Duncan,

I am glad that you are excited. Lovely video. Almost like a group of lovely water birds that got together to go out and skim the ocean and then came home to nest. Did you do have a boat & go out sailing when you were there?

Also, watched the black & white clip of Oyster Fishing, circa 1920. The boats look very much like the skipjacks that the oystermen here on the Chesapeake Bay use.

I can understand why you miss Whitstable so much.

Blessings,

Amanda
